Artur Braun is known for his leadership of the Braun company along with his brother Erwin. Together, they built Braun into a company known worldwide for providing excellent shaving products.
Artur and Edwin took over the Braun company in 1951 after their father, Max died. Max had already been running the company for 30 years, and when Artur and Edwin took over they took the company in a new direction, aiming to create aesthetically pleasing as well as functional products. The company was eventually sold to Gillette in 1967.
